Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs Planning Commission meets at 5 p.m. today in Centennial Hall. The commission will continue its discussion and review of proposed revisions to the city's inclusionary zoning ordinance, which regulates how the city provides affordable housing. The Steamboat Springs City Council is scheduled to continue its work on the ordinance May 15.
Free Hepatitis vaccinations available to eligible adults
Free Twinrix (Hepatitis A and B) vaccinations are available to adults 18 and older who have certain risk factors and have not previously had these vaccinations. Eligible recipients include adults who have had more than one sex partner in the past six months, have had a recent STD, use illegal drugs or those who are from a less developed country. Call the Visiting Nurse Association at 879-1632 to receive vaccination protection against hepatitis. The VNA office is at 940 Central Park Drive, Suite 101.

Workforce Forum Series held monthly until August
The Steamboat Springs Economic Development Council is presenting a Workforce Forum Series to be held once a month through August covering information relating to the Yampa Valley. Topics will include construction updates, workforce housing, workforce retention, workforce recruitment and workforce training. The series will be held at Rex's American Grill from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 21, July 18 and Aug. 8. Cost is $15 per forum or $70 for all five. USDA Commodities being distributed through June
USDA Commodities are being distributed for the second quarter of 2007 at LIFT-UP of Routt County offices in Steamboat Springs, Hayden and Oak Creek through The Emergency Food Assistance Program. Each eligible household may receive TEFAP foods once per quarter. This quarterly distribution ends June 30. Food will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets on sale for Arts Council fundraiser
Tickets are on sale for Cabaret 2007, an Arts Council fundraiser and local comedy revue. This year's theme is "The Times Are A-Changin'" and will be held May 17 to May 19 at Steamboat Mountain Theater. Reserved seating ticket prices are $40 for opening night and $30 for Friday and Saturday shows. Call 879-9008.
