Friday, March 23
12:07 a.m. A "distraught" man was taken to detox from the 3300 block of Willowbrook Court.
12:25 a.m. A 42-year-old Casper, Wyo., man was arrested in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square on suspicion of disorderly conduct after he was caught throwing beer bottles off a bar's deck.
12:35 a.m. A 21-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square on suspicion of third-degree assault and criminal mischief.
1:56 a.m. A 27-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested near AprÃs Ski Way and Walton Creek Road on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and two other traffic offenses.
1:59 a.m. A 37-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to give information and unsafe backing after he reportedly backed out of his driveway into his neighbor's car.
2:39 a.m. A group of 10 people reportedly were intoxicated and being loud in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road. One of the men in the group reportedly had been beaten up and one of the women's purses was stolen. A report was taken.
7:21 a.m. Someone reportedly slashed all four of a Ford Explorer's tires and broke a window with a rock in the 3000 block of Mountaineer Circle.
7:26 a.m. An 18-year-old woman was taken to the hospital from the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue because she was hot and passing out.
8:23 a.m. An 18-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway on suspicion of harassing his mother and threatening her.
9:17 a.m. A man came to the police department because he was "hearing voices" and suspected someone was investigating him and watching him. A report was taken.
12:15 p.m. A 7-year-old male skier reportedly ran into a man in his 50s at the Steamboat Ski Area. Both skiers were found unconscious and both had cuts on their heads. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for moderate injuries. The incident is under investigation.
1:05 p.m. Someone reportedly stole a ski patroller's skis in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
2:41 p.m. A cell phone was stolen in the first block of Maple Street.
2:39 p.m. A possible sexual assault was reported in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. The incident is under investigation.
3:53 p.m. A 34-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of bribery, fraud and possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. Police said the woman called a pharmacy pretending to be a medical physician to get a prescription filled. When she went to the pharmacy, the woman reportedly was found possessing methamphetamine and tried to bribe a police officer with a winning lottery ticket to let her go. The woman was arrested and posted a $20,000 bond at the Routt County Jail.
6:06 p.m. A 23-year-old man was arrested in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of driving under suspension and being a fugitive of justice.
