Steamboat Springs Yampa Valley Community Foundation changes
Linda Haltom, executive director of the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, will move to finance director of the foundation.
She will work with a variety of donors who would like to give various types of assets as well as provide for the future of the valley in their estate plans. With Haltom's CPA experience, the Community Foundation believes her skills are best utilized working directly to increase charitable planned giving by providing personalized service and accountability.

Eileen Allen, local vice president and financial consultant with Wells Fargo Investments, will be working closely with the Community Foundation.
Scuba and Water Sports receives 5-Star recognition
PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, recently awarded the prestigious 5-Star Dive Center recognition to Steamboat Scuba and Water Sports. According to PADI, "5-Star Dive Centers excel in providing dive consumers with a full range of diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience opportunities and that actively promote aquatic environmental awareness."
Realtors accepting scholarship applications
The Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors is accepting scholarship applications from area high school students. Christine Hands, chairwoman of the Board of Realtors' Scholarship Committee, said scholarships will be awarded to students based on need, creativity, presentation, leadership in the community and a desire to continue education.
