Steamboat Springs — Erin Collins of Steamboat TV 18 visits with Jacqui Campbell, fire and life safety educator for Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue, about efforts to recruit new firefighters.
The department is accepting applications for recruit firefighters through April 1. The recruit program is a nine-month program that includes monthly meetings and skills testing on firefighting curriculum.
