1:31 a.m. A 31-year-old Texas man was arrested in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.
10:37 a.m. Officers verified an address in the 1000 block of Gilpin Court for the Colorado Department of Corrections. A registered sex offender who is being released from prison March 16 is expected to move into a residence on that street.
10:53 a.m. A woman found a California driver's license near Spring Valley Drive and Meadow Lane.
12:44 p.m. A man lost his cell phone somewhere in Steamboat Springs.
12:52 p.m. A man in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza reportedly was threatening to assault another man about a business contract. Police mediated the situation.
1:41 p.m. Someone reportedly stole two chainsaws worth $1,000 from the 2000 block of 13th Street.
1:45 p.m. A woman in her late 50s was taken to the hospital from the 2100 block of Mount Werner Circle because she was dizzy and nauseous.
3:05 p.m. A man lost a pair of skis in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
3:54 p.m. A 29-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested near Routt County Road 129 and Airport Circle on suspicion of driving under restraint and speeding.
4:58 p.m. A truck reportedly hit a sign in the middle of a parking lot.
6:25 p.m. Officers warned residents in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square to turn down loud music.
6:31 p.m. A woman lost her driver's license in the Steamboat area.
6:41 p.m. A woman in the 100 block of Ninth Street reportedly found a "suspicious substance stuffed into an item" at her store. The woman suspected it was marijuana. Police seized the substance.
7:57 p.m. An intoxicated 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital from a bar and restaurant in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue because she was vomiting and passing out. Police said the girl reportedly was drinking alcohol with a man in a car that was parked outside the bar and restaurant. The girl went inside to use the restroom and was found passed out by employees. Police said they do not think the girl drank alcohol at the bar, and they are investigating where the girl received the alcohol. The girl was cited for being a minor in possession.
10:22 p.m. Officers warned residents in the 1500 block of Flat Top Circle to turn down loud music.
