SSHS '60s classes will hold reunion Saturday

— The Steamboat Springs High School graduating classes of 1960 through 1969 will hold a reunion from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. All who are interested in visiting with the alumni are welcome to attend. Several of the classes have planned additional activities and dinners for Saturday evening. Camp offers instruction in tennis, acting and music

RAM (Racquets, Acting and Music) Camp is July 9 to 19 at South Routt Elementary School in Yampa. The camp, which costs $300 for the two-week session, is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. RAM Camp is directed by music teacher Don Williams and Din Golden. Students will experience instruction in tennis, acting and music. Call Don at 736-8567.

Hot Air Balloon Rodeo

Volunteers are needed July 7 and 8 for the annual Hot Air Balloon Rodeo. No experience necessary, and volunteers will receive a free 2007 event T-shirt. Call Molly at 875-7009 or stop by the Steamboat Springs Visitors Center at 1255 S. Lincoln Ave.

Shingles vaccine available for adults 60 and older

Zostavax, the shingles vaccine, now is available at Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association for adults 60 and older. The vaccine helps prevent shingles and also can reduce the pain associated with shingles. VNA will offer the vaccination for $190 a shot. The shot is not covered by Medicare. In some cases, VNA can provide the vaccine free of charge to uninsured, low-income adults through Merck's Patient Assistance Program. For more information, call the VNA at 879-1632 or 824-8233.

Totally Kids offers Hayden children summer activities

The Totally Kids summer program in Hayden is gearing up for the summer. Students ages 5 to 12 can join the program, which offers different activities every day, including swimming, movies, picnics, fishing, art projects and more. Call 846-9083 for more information.
