Fourth of July Parade entry forms no longer accepted

— The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is no longer accepting parade entry forms for the First National bank of Steamboat Springs Fourth of July Parade. Because of construction, this year's parade was limited to 60 floats. That threshold has been reached. The parade begins at 10 a.m. July 4. Downtown traffic will be re-routed from about 5 a.m. to noon. For more information, call Matt Windt at 875-7002.

CattleWomen to hold cookout on Saturday

Routt County CattleWomen are holding a cookout at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ace at the Curve. There will be food, live music, a petting zoo and a dunk tank. All proceeds will benefit scholarships for students who want to pursue agriculture-related education. Call 736-0013 for more information.

Enrollment ongoing for Routt County 4-H

Membership enrollment is ongoing for Routt County 4-H. Membership is open to any youth in Routt County. Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 18 as of Jan. 1. Stop by the Routt County Extension Service Office in the Courthouse Annex or call 879-0825.

Free Hepatitis A and B vaccinations available

Free Twinrix (Hepatitis A and B) vaccinations are available to adults 18 and older who have certain risk factors and have not previously had these vaccinations. Eligible recipients include adults who have had more than one sex partner in the past six months, have had a recent STD, use illegal drugs or those who are from a less developed country. Call the Visiting Nurse Association at 879-1632 to receive vaccination protection against hepatitis. The VNA office is at 940 Central Park Drive, Suite 101.

Hayden church in need of pianist to accompany choir

Hayden Congregational United Church of Christ is seeking a pianist to accompany the choir and to fill in for Sunday services as needed. Call Julie at 276-2027 or the church at 276-3510 for more information.

Show us your ink

Do you have a tattoo and want to show it off? 4 Points is looking for anyone interested in having a picture of their ink featured in an upcoming edition of the weekly arts and entertainment section.
