Steamboat Springs SATURDAY, JUNE 23
1:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs police officers dispersed a crowd in front of the Tugboat at Ski Time Square.
1:35 a.m. A verbal warning for loud noise was issued at a party on Hill Top Drive.
2:03 a.m. A noise complaint was issued at home at 2919 Whistler Road and a verbal warning was issued.
7:03 a.m. A hit and run was reported at the Safeway on U.S. Highway 40 after an employee found a damaged light pole in the parking lot.
10:32 a.m. A guest at the Hotel Bristol, located at 917 Lincoln Ave., reported smoke emitting from vents. It was determined the smoke came from burned food in the hotel's kitchen. No damage to the building was reported.
11:01 a.m. A hit and run was reported at 145 Trafalger Drive. No arrests were made.
11:40 a.m. Employees at a business located at 1430 13th St. in Steamboat Springs reported someone had illegally dumped trash in the business's dumpster.
2:06 p.m. Police responded to 1375 Sparta Plaza to a vandalism call where someone had driven over fresh asphalt. The incident was not determined to be criminal mischief.
4:05 p.m. Several reports of an altercation in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 45 East Maple led to a DUI arrest of an individual engaged in a verbal domestic argument.
7:16 p.m. A stolen vehicle was reported at 709 Walton Pond Circle. The incident remains under investigation.
7:36 p.m. A man reported vandalism to his Dodge Stratus. The driver side window of the vehicle was broken, but no rocks or other objects were found in or around the car.
8:47 p.m. Two males were issued a verbal warning for loud noise at 902 Mountain Village Circle.
9:16 p.m. A juvenile was arrested for DUI at the Snowbowl on U.S. Highway 40. Another juvenile was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. Both individuals were processed and released to their parents.
10:51 p.m. A man was arrested for DUI after a noninjury, rollover accident on River Road.
10:56 p.m. A noise complaint was reported at 45 East Maple, where several people competing in the Bike Tour of Colorado were camping. A verbal warning was issued.
11:25 p.m. A noise complaint was reported at 401 Howelsen Parkway where rodeo staff were playing loud music while cleaning up after Saturday's rodeo. A verbal warning was issued.
