1:21 a.m. After a fight in progress was reported on 10th Street, Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat man and a 28-year-old Glenwood Springs man, both on misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and second-degree trespassing. Police said the two men assaulted the owner or manager of a local business. Police said the assaulted man received "very minor injuries."
2:04 a.m. A fight in progress was reported in the 1700 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Police said an assaulted individual received minor injuries. The assailant has not been found.
2:10 a.m. During a traffic stop at Mount Werner Road and River Road, police arrested a 41-year-old Steamboat man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and disregarding a stop sign.
2:13 a.m. A woman reported a suspicious incident on Old Fish Creek Falls Road. Police said a juvenile was detained for bicycle theft.
2:38 a.m. During a traffic stop at Third Street and Oak Street, police arrested a 32-year-old Steamboat woman on misdemeanor charges of driving while ability impaired and disregarding a stop sign.
4:48 a.m. A man reported loud noise in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. Police warned people who were being too noisy in a hot tub.
6:51 a.m. A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Police said no injuries occurred, only damage to a vehicle. Police cited an individual who caused the damage.
10:46 a.m. A man reported a burglary in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail. Police said homeowners found a damaged door upon returning to their home after a long absence, but forced entry into the home was not achieved.
2:09 p.m. A drunk pedestrian was reported at Rich Weiss Park. Police said several people, who had been floating down the Yampa River on inflated tubes, were warned for "lingering in the park and being obnoxious."
3:16 p.m. During a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza, a Routt County Sheriff's Office deputy arrested a 52-year-old Steamboat man on misdemeanor charges of driving under a revoked license, no proof of insurance, and driving an unsafe vehicle.
3:28 p.m. A wildland brush fire was reported in Oak Creek.
6:13 p.m. During a traffic stop in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, police arrested a 32-year-old Steamboat man on misdemeanor charges of violating bond conditions, driving under a suspended license, making an improper turn, obstruction and driving with an open container of alcohol. Police also arrested a 26-year-old Steamboat woman for an outstanding warrant from Park County.
6:27 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat.
8:02 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat. Police said both incidents involved kids who were hassling ballplayers at Howelsen Hill. The kids were asked to leave the area.
9:02 p.m. A deputy was requested in Big Red Park in North Routt County.
9:29 p.m. A wildland brush fire was reported in the Sanctuary. Police said the incident was a permitted fire.
10:02 p.m. A woman reported a disturbance in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Police said people reportedly were arguing loudly outside, but no subjects were found.
11:14 p.m. A woman reported loud noise near Meadow Lane. Police warned people at a loud party.
11:36 p.m. A woman reported trespassing in progress in the 3300 block of Routt County Road 33.
11:51 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat. Police said in a dispute between a divorced couple, the ex-husband received minor injuries, and the ex-wife was arrested on charges of third-degree assault.
