12:50 a.m. A loud party was reported on Cypress Court.

1:07 a.m. A woman reportedly heard fireworks near Lupine and Tamarack drives.

2:33 a.m. A bear was spotted on Grand Street.

3:16 a.m. A woman in the 300 block of Sixth Street reported hearing people talking loudly. The people were given a warning to be quiet.

7:52 a.m. A 45-year-old transient man was arrested on Downhill Drive for being a fugitive of justice.

9 a.m. Officers mediated an argument between a man and a woman.

10:45 a.m. A telephone booth window reportedly was broken in the 2800 block of Riverside Plaza.

11:28 a.m. Someone complained about a closed road near Walton Creek Road and Village Drive because nobody was directing traffic. A traffic flagger was there when officers arrived.

12:33 p.m. A small fire was extinguished in the 400 block of W. Lincoln Avenue in Hayden. Fire officials said the fire likely was started by juveniles "playing with cigarettes or fireworks." No injuries or damage were reported.

1:20 p.m. A 14-year-old Steamboat Springs boy was reported missing. The incident is under investigation.

1:49 p.m. A 24-year-old bicyclist was taken to the hospital after he ran into a moving car near Apres Ski Way and Village Drive. Police said the driver of the car was cited for the accident.

2:12 p.m. A 42-year-old Hayden man was found dead at his home in Hayden. Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg said the death is not suspicious.

4:12 p.m. Officers mediated an argument between a man and a woman.

4:20 p.m. A report of child abuse was made. Police said the claim was unfounded.

5:08 p.m. A man's cell phone reportedly was stolen in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

5:08 p.m. Officers mediated a custody dispute.

6:36 p.m. A truck reportedly was on fire on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 118. The fire was put out before firefighters got there.

6:59 p.m. A woman reported a weaving car on U.S. 40 near Rabbit Ears Pass.

6:58 p.m. A woman reportedly retrieved a bicycle out of the Yampa River near Ninth Street after she saw someone throw the bike in the water. The bike was taken to the police department.

9:05 p.m. A drunken 49-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested in the 100 block of W. Virginia in Oak Creek on suspicion of felony menacing and prohibited use of a weapon after reportedly threatening his neighbor with a gun.

9:42 p.m. A wildfire was reported in the 42000 block of McGuire Lane in Hayden. West Routt fire officials said a man was burning a dead horse, which is not illegal, and that the fire was under control.

good job RCSO deputies!!!! oc has needed this group of people contained for a long time?????ch always slips through??? thanks tues. nite with the help on the guy that got beat up on s. sharp??? maybe oc will get a handle on the drug problems here???????????

whyquestion... the only way to find out if OC WANTS to get a handle on the drug problem is to wait and see what kind of police force they end up with.
