Vacancies on Fund Board, commissions

Steamboat Springs — The Education Fund Board has a vacancy for a community member with the recent resignation of Keri Rusthoi. The Fund Board is responsible for determining how to spend the city's half-cent sales tax.
The Technology Commission, which deals with technology needs of the district, also has two vacant positions. The Educational Excellence Commission will have a vacant position soon.
Community members living within Steamboat Springs School District boundaries interested in filling any of these positions can contact the school district at 879-1530. School officials will connect people with the appropriate contact person on the Fund Board or on the commissions.
