12:17 p.m. A stray cat with one blue eye and one green eye was wandering around the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle.

1:18 p.m. A hotel guest reportedly fell in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle and was complaining about tingling in his fingers. The man was taken to the hospital.

3:09 p.m. A truck without its flashers on reportedly was facing the wrong direction near Fifth and Oak streets.

3:58 p.m. A 14-year-old girl came to the police department to ask a police officer to escort her home because she hadn't gone home the night before and "didn't want her dad to freak out." Officers mediated the situation.

5:02 p.m. A woman's purse was stolen near Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:32 p.m. A 58-year-old bricklayer from Cheyenne, Wyo., died after working on a construction project 12 miles northwest of Columbine. Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg said the man had just completed his first day on the job, ate dinner and collapsed while walking to where he was staying. Ryg said the death is not suspicious.

6:57 p.m. The father of the 14-year-old girl who had requested an officer escort her home called police to report his daughter missing. Police said she was supposed to go home after leaving the police department at about 4 p.m. A report was taken.

8:30 p.m. A man was having trouble with his son. The man told police his son was not threatening, but was upset over "issues with a girlfriend." A report was taken.

11:46 p.m. A 24-year-old Telluride woman was arrested east of Steamboat Springs on U.S. Highway 40 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
