Tattoo of the week: Jeff Henderson

When my husband and I went to get my wedding band in Northern Virginia in 2000, the jewelry clerk asked him why he wasn't getting one himself. My husband told her that he doesn't wear jewelry of any kind. The clerk then proceeded to say with that being the case, he should get a ring tattooed on his finger. I was starting to laugh, (yeah, like he would really do that) and he got this look and said, "I think that's a good idea."
Shortly after we got married in October 2000, we went to a tattoo parlor just outside of Quantico Marine Base in Triangle, Va., and he got, as he calls it, a "ball and chain" tattoo.
