Community college offers gift of learning
Colorado Mountain College is offering gift certificates in any amount and applicable to any CMC class.
"This is the first time the campus has offered gift certificates," said Kerry Hart, dean of the CMC Alpine Campus in Steamboat Springs. "The gift of learning is one of the greatest gifts that anyone could receive. I hope there will be many in the community that will take advantage of this opportunity."
The holiday season may be over, but education is a timeless gift, Hart said. CMC offers numerous career options to choose from as well as a variety of business and technology classes to sharpen or update acquired skills. For the upcoming semester, the Alpine Campus is offering an array of classes in the arts, sciences and vocational programs.
Copies of the CMC spring semester schedule are available at the Alpine Campus front desk, Bud Werner Memorial Library and the Steamboat Visitor Center. People also can log on to www.coloradomtn.edu/register for more information.
