Laurie Berkner concert tickets now on sale

Individual tickets for the Laurie Berkner concert are on sale now through Steamboat Central Reservations, 879-0740 or The Jan. 14 concert is the children's music artist's only Colorado appearance this winter. The event is part of the Nickelodeon and Steamboat Family Snow Festival. Tickets are $25 for adults and children three and older. Children two and younger will be admitted for free.

Show us your ink for 4 Points section

Got a tattoo and want to show it off? 4 Points is looking for anyone interested in having a picture of their ink featured in an upcoming edition of the weekly arts and entertainment section.

Association seeks 2007 event information

The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is requesting information about local events for its summer 2007 calendar. The calendar includes events from May through October 2007. The information will be available on both Chamber Web sites, the summer Visitor's Guide, in publications providing visitor information about Steamboat Springs, in various community maps, in news media publications, in press releases and in mailings throughout the summer.

Winter Carnival event registration opens Feb. 1

Registration for the 94th annual Winter Carnival street events opens Feb. 1 at the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association visitors center at 1255 S. Lincoln Ave. The visitors center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Winter Carnival street events will take place Feb. 10 and 11. Fairgrounds available for winter horseback riding

Don't let your horse get out of shape. The Routt County Fairgrounds multi-purpose building is open to the public for horseback riding. The cost is $5 an hour. Open riding sessions last through the winter with a varied schedule. Horses are not provided. The schedule is posted at, or call 276-3068 for more information.
