Q. When did you move to Routt County and what brought you here?
A. I moved here in August 2007.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?
A. Purchasing a home in Routt County while still owning my previous home.
Q. Describe your morning routine.
A. Get up, walk and feed my dog. Make coffee and help get my daughter ready for day care. Drive to school and get ready to teach high school band and jazz band.
Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?
A. Yes. "All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."
Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
A.. Play every day!
Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?
A. 1. I Love my wife, Emma, and daughter, Katherine.
2. I love to teach and perform music.
3. I love the outdoors: skiing, biking and hiking!
Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A. Originally I wanted to be a nurse or veterinarian. Then I was drawn to music.
Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?
A. Ghandi, Diana, Tiger Woods and any living president. I would love to have them talk about what is really important and what makes them happy.
Q. In the Meatloaf song, "I'd do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is that?
A. Jump out of an airplane or skydive.
Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?
A. 1920s and '30s. It was a great era in music history!
Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?
A. When it snows it will be skiing.
