1:10 a.m. Officers warned a man who was walking down the middle of Mount Werner Road.

1:33 a.m. An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. Everything was fine.

6:19 a.m. A Missouri man called police because he was concerned he had been the victim of fraud. The man had purchased a photo during an art festival in July, and although his credit card had been charged for the purchase, the man had not received his photo. Police checked with the photographer, who said the photo was shipped earlier this week.

10:04 a.m. Someone used a marker to vandalize several windows in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:16 a.m. A loose dog was taken to the shelter from the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:57 a.m. A woman took a mountain bike she found in the bushes near 10th and Pine streets to the police department.

10:55 a.m. Officers mediated an argument between two neighbors who were arguing about parking issues.

11:19 a.m. A gas skip was reported in the first block of Anglers Drive.

11:18 a.m. A woman lost her purse in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:41 p.m. A bear was spotted in the 2300 block of AprÃs Ski Way.

2:24 p.m. Someone reportedly altered a prescription for narcotic medication in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. The incident is under investigation.

5:12 p.m. A driver was almost run off the side of the road "in a game of chicken" west of Steamboat Springs. Officers were unable to locate the other vehicle involved in the incident.

6:03 p.m. A 36-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested at the Routt County Jail for being a fugitive of justice.

6:47 p.m. A motorcycle accident was reported on Colorado Highway 131 north of Yampa. Colorado State Patrol Trooper Brett Hilling said the man driving the motorcycle had left the scene of the accident before police got there, but that the driver probably has an injured right arm from hitting a concrete embankment. Hilling said the motorcyclist, who was driving south on Colo. 131, apparently lost control of his bike, veered off the left side of the road and down an embankment. The driver most likely was ejected about 30 feet, he said. The accident is still under investigation. No other accidents or injuries were reported.

7:06 p.m. A man in the 2400 block of AprÃs Ski Way complained about construction work starting too early and ending too late.

7:09 p.m. A woman in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive complained about construction noise after 7 p.m.

7:49 p.m. A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls from her brother-in-law. Both people were contacted and given a warning, police said.

8:04 p.m. A man in the 1900 block of Alpine Plaza reportedly gave a dentist a false name, and then stole several prescription drugs before running away from the office. The incident is under investigation.

9:45 p.m. A bear was walking around the Routt County Courthouse lawn and drawing a crowd of people.

10:15 p.m. A man saw a skateboarder riding down Walton Creek Road.

11:11 p.m. A 31-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault (domestic violence).
