1:02 a.m. Several people were riding skateboards and being loud in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Officers gave the group a warning to be quiet.
1:21 a.m. Two men reportedly were yelling at each other in the 500 block of Wyatt Drive. Officers mediated the argument.
1:49 a.m. A man was taken to detox from the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:04 a.m. A bear was eating trash in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:38 a.m. An $83.50 gas skip was reported in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. Police contacted the driver, and he returned to pay for the gas.
8:29 a.m. A small oak tree was axed, and a window was broken out of a park bathroom in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:42 a.m. A backpack reportedly was stolen out of a car in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. The backpack was recovered, but several items were reported missing from the bag. A report was taken.
10:09 a.m. A wallet was stolen from an office in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.
10:40 a.m. A man in the 2400 block of Val d'Isere Circle complained about his neighbors not using a wildlife-proof container and putting out trash too early.
10:55 a.m. A fraud report was taken somewhere in Steamboat Springs.
11:19 a.m. A woman and her son reportedly were arguing loudly about the boy's "driving habits."
4:05 p.m. A 62-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on Routt County Road 36 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
5:55 p.m. A 68-year-old Yampa man died when he lost control of his truck on Colorado Highway 131 north of Yampa. Colorado State Patrol said the man was driving south on Colo. 131 when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the side of the road and overcorrected, causing the truck to roll onto its top. The truck landed upside down in a drainage ditch full of water. There were no other passengers, and no other cars were involved.
6:29 p.m. A man and woman reportedly were arguing. The man agreed to leave for the night.
7:21 p.m. Two kittens were taken to the shelter after being found alone in the 400 block of Fairview Drive.
7:27 p.m. Officers checked on someone being pushed in a wheelchair on Snapdragon Way. The person was fine.
8:55 p.m. A group of people reportedly was doing "doughnuts" at the end of Burgess Creek Road. The group was gone when officers arrived.
10:21 p.m. A large party was warned to be quiet in the 800 block of Crawford Avenue.
10:54 p.m. A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls. Officers contacted the caller and gave him or her a warning.
