12:16 a.m. Neighbors in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza reported hearing gunshots. Police officers could not locate the source of the noise.
12:45 a.m. A woman reported that a group of teenagers was arranging traffic cones to obstruct traffic on U.S. Highway 40 near McDonald's.
3:36 a.m. A bear was reported in the 400 block of Pine Street. The Division of Wildlife responded.
9:42 a.m. A man rolled his vehicle in a one-car accident on Main Street in Hahn's Peak. Sheriff deputies did not know whether the person was injured or whether he was cited for any violations.
12:21 p.m. A man reported that an emblem from his truck was stolen in the Sheraton Steamboat Resort parking structure.
12:40 p.m. Denver Flight Services staff asked the Steamboat Springs Police Department to respond to Bob Adams Field to investigate whether a plane listed as overdue had landed without notice. The plane was found on the airport grounds.
12:41 p.m. An accident was reported on Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 14 near Steamboat Springs. Sheriff's deputies did not know whether the person was injured or whether anyone was cited for any violations.
2:09 p.m. A woman came to the police department to report she was the suspect from a Saturday night hit and run.
3:00 p.m. A woman called police to report her car stolen from the Upper Knoll parking lot at the ski area. She later discovered that her car had rolled down an embankment into the Lower Knoll parking lot. The vehicle had struck another car and had damaged some ski lift machinery that was being stored in the parking lot.
7:55 p.m. Police officers responded to a child welfare check on Pine and Fifth streets. A 9-year-old child was sitting alone in a car as his family ate at a nearby eatery, but officers determined no law was being broken.
8:01 p.m. An accident was reported on Colorado Road 38 near mile marker 2. A man rolled his mini-van while he was out looking for his dog. He was not injured.
11:18 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive in Steamboat. Officers found two teenagers playing loud music in a hot tub, and a warning was issued.

DER..try putting your vechile in Park or in gear when you leave it..Hey set the park brake too..unbelieveable..love to hear her explanation of this accident to insurance company..lol..had to be real close to embankment
