2 a.m. A person was cited near Snowbowl Plaza and U.S. Highway 40 for camping illegally.
2:24 a.m. Police issued a minor in possession citation in the 200 block of Howelsen Parkway.
7:43 a.m. A 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital from the Stock Bridge Transit Center after he reportedly collapsed getting off a bus.
7:47 a.m. A semitrailer was struck by a Union Pacific train along U.S. 40 near Heritage Park as the semitrailer was crossing the railroad tracks. The semitrailer's driver was not injured during the accident, but was issued a citation by Colorado State Patrol.
8:31 a.m. A loose dog was taken to the shelter from the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:32 a.m. A man in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue reported that a woman was speeding and driving recklessly.
8:49 a.m. A bear reportedly was getting in trash in the 2600 block of Burgess Creek Road. Officers left a "Bear Aware" flier on the homeowner's door as a warning.
8:56 a.m. A 34-year-old woman sustained minor injuries when her car struck another car on U.S. 40 near the Silver Spur subdivision. The woman was cited for the accident.
9:09 a.m. Police are investigating a report that a boy younger than 12 was abused.
9:09 a.m. An oxygen tank reportedly was rolling down the 900 block of Weiss Drive. A passerby picked up the tank before officers could arrive.
9:22 a.m. People reportedly were driving Jeeps over a "wrecked car" in the 2700 block of Riverside Drive, and someone was concerned that oil and gas was seeping into the yard. The group was gone when officers arrived.
9:36 a.m. A possible identity theft was reported at a business in the 1800 block of Shield Drive.
9:52 a.m. A gray snowboard and bindings reportedly were stolen from a locked closet in the 500 block of Eighth Street.
10:02 a.m. Construction equipment reportedly was vandalized in the 1200 block of Walton Creek Road.
10:06 a.m. Someone complained about a nonwildlife-proof trash container in the 100 block of 11th Street.
10:59 a.m. A black cruiser bike with a banana seat reportedly was stolen from a bike rack in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
11:18 a.m. A small brush fire was reported west of Phippsburg along Colorado Highway 131. Firefighters with the Yampa Fire Protection District extinguished the blaze. No damage or injuries were reported.
12:05 p.m. A camera reportedly was stolen from the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:22 p.m. A trailer reportedly was spray painted in the 800 block of Pine Street.
1:56 p.m. Two skateboarders reportedly were riding on the sidewalk in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
2:08 p.m. A 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 400 block of Eighth Street on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass and harassment.
2:16 p.m. A dog reportedly was left in a car in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dog was taken to the animal shelter and later released to its owner.
3:16 p.m. A blue and white Specialized bike reportedly was stolen from a bike rack in the 1000 block of Yampa Street.
3:49 p.m. A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:22 p.m. Someone in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive reportedly saw a "low flying" airplane and was concerned it was going to hit a condominium building. Officers were unable to locate the plane.
7:22 p.m. An Oak Creek woman reportedly wanted advice about her teenage daughter living in Denver. The woman was advised.
9:59 p.m. A 21-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested near Lincoln Avenue and Fifth Street on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and having invalid registration.
