12:38 a.m. A bear was spotted in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:40 a.m. A traffic stop was made on Chinook Lane. A driver was arrested on suspicion of speeding, displaying expired temporary registration, driving under suspension, driving without insurance and driving under the influence.
12:41 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the 2500 block of Cortina Lane. Police asked a small party on an outdoor deck to move inside.
12:44 a.m. Loud noise was reported near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
12:48 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the 1000 block of 13th Street. Police issued a warning for the noise.
12:52 a.m. An officer was requested on Mount Werner Circle. Someone had placed construction cones in the middle of the road.
1:27 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Oak Creek. An intoxicated person was transported to detox.
1:48 a.m. An officer was requested in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. An intoxicated male was reportedly causing problems with EMS personnel. Police took a report.
2:23 a.m. A bear was spotted in the 100 block of 12th Street.
2:56 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the 1900 block of Montview Lane. Police issued a warning.
3:05 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the 600 block of Yahmonite Road. Police issued a warning.
4:56 a.m. A bear was spotted in the 1900 block of Rockies Way.
5:57 a.m. A person complained about an animal on Hilltop Parkway. Police issued a warning to the animal's owner.
8:11 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the Greystone subdivision. Police were unable to locate the source of the noise.
9:25 a.m. A dog reportedly bit a 1-year-old child in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Police took a report.
11:17 a.m. Theft of a bike from a front yard was reported in the 800 block of Broad Street. A report was taken, and the bike was later found.
11:23 a.m. A bear was spotted in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane. The bear was gone when officers arrived.
7:01 p.m. An assault was reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek, where two men were fighting. No charges were filed, but the case still is under investigation.
7:05 p.m. Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 39900 block of Pine Street in Milner. The case is under investigation.
9:08 p.m. A person complained about an animal in the 900 block of Pine Street. Police were unable to locate the animal.
9:34 p.m. An officer was requested in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue in Hayden. Police made an arrest for violation of a protection order, two counts of harassment and following too closely.
9:44 p.m. Someone reported two children fighting in Yampa.
11:41 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Dry Lake Campground. The vehicle was fine.

maybe the city council should pass an ordinance against loud bears?
