Amelia Sidinger named to Dean's Honor Roll at UNC

— Amelia Sidinger, a 2005 Steamboat Springs High School graduate, has been named to the Dean's Honor Roll at the University of Northern Colorado for the 2006-07 academic year. Amelia also was recently inducted into the International Sociological Honor Society of Alpha Kappa Delta.

Grant fund applications due on September 21

Applications for the Routt County Museum and Heritage Capacity-Building Grant Fund are due Sept. 21 to the Routt County Board of Commissioners Office in the Courthouse Annex. Qualified projects must relate to historic preservation and must be sponsored and administered by a qualified museum entity within your district. The approved museum entities are the town of Yampa, the Oak Creek and Phippsburg Historical Society, Tread of Pioneers Museum, Hahn's Peak Historical Society, Historic Routt County and the Hayden Heritage Center. Applications are evaluated on a set of standardized criteria available through the museum entities and specified in the application packet. Oak Creek, Yampa, Soroco reunion to be held Sept. 2

A reunion for Oak Creek, Yampa and Soroco alumni, teachers, support staff and administration is planned for 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at the high school. The cost is $15 a person for those who want to eat a catered lunch. Send your money send to Wayne Rossi, 949 Wagonwheel Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Money must be received by Aug. 15. For those who don't want a catered lunch, there will be a $3 per person admission charge payable at the door. For more information, e-mail alumnireunion07@cs.com. Enrollment ongoing for Routt County 4-H

Membership enrollment is ongoing for Routt County 4-H. Routt County 4-H membership is open to any youth in Routt County. Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 18 as of Jan. 1. Stop by the Routt County Extension Service Office in the Courthouse Annex or call 879-0825.
