7:41 a.m. A 29-year-old Gypsum man was arrested on Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 40 on suspicion of driving under suspension and speeding.

8:15 a.m. An 80-year-old woman was found dead at her home in the 600 block of Pine Street. Police said the woman likely died of natural causes, and the death was not suspicious.

11:06 a.m. A dog owner on Blue Sage Drive was given two written warnings for allowing dogs to run off a leash.

11:40 a.m. Someone reportedly stole a shed worth $1,500 to $2,000 from the 2600 block of Riverside Drive. The incident is under investigation.

12:07 p.m. A woman reportedly saw a "couple of high school-aged kids carrying around white, plastic looking objects" near Steamboat Boulevard and Delta Queen Court. The group was gone when officers arrived.

1:41 p.m. Two check frauds were reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

2:38 p.m. A driver reportedly slammed on her brakes and turned without using a blinker near 10th and Oak streets.

4:20 p.m. A Colorado Mountain College student reportedly threatened to kill someone in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. The incident is under investigation.

9:38 p.m. People reportedly were shooting off fireworks in the 800 block of Hillside Court.

11:21 p.m. A dog near AprÃs Ski Way and Medicine Springs Drive reportedly was running loose with a leash attached to its collar.

11:25 p.m. A car reportedly was weaving near Lincoln Avenue and High Point Drive.

Is it illegal to carry around white plastic things??
I do it all the time.
Why are people so paranoid???
Nothing better to do I guess.

Would it make a difference if they were red? Come on, not all teenagers are up to trouble all the time...Assuming this is a disservice to all of the amazing kids we have in the community.
