Wellness Information Fair provides wealth of advisement

Aging Well, a program of Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, will host the first Wellness Information Fair in conjunction with Wellness Wednesday at the American Legion building (Shadow Mountain Clubhouse) from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday. Food will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family to the event and get some great tips. The following individuals will have information available at the mini fair:
Jessica German, D.C.
Health and Wellness Coach
Jessica will be available to explain and demonstrate how to identify hidden interferences in your body that must be eliminated so you can slow your aging process. Get great health tips, too.
Elisa Shackelton
CSU Cooperative Extension Office - Craig
Summer Food Safety: Barbecues, Picnics, Camping, Boating or Hiking - Are You Prepared?
Come learn more about summer food safety precautions and receive a free thermometer for your cooler.
Jean Jones, RN
Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association
Ask-a-Nurse - Jean will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about health issues. She also will be available to provide blood pressure checks, blood glucose readings, medication review and weight assessments. This service is free and is offered every Wednesday at "Wellness Wednesdays."

The Memorial Hospital
Amy Knights, the Diabetes Educator and Transition Care Coordinator for The Memorial Hospital, will be on hand for any questions about diabetes. She has lots of information to share.

Arin will be providing great eating tips to help improve a healthy lifestyle.

Learn how to have youthful, radiant, beautiful skin as well as relaxation techniques that will help you de-stress. Melissa also will be offering hand massages.

Regina will have information on Senior Equipment and Services and the Caregivers Support Program.

Emergency Management Service with The Memorial Hospital
Deb will have a booth with information on Lifeline.
Deb Dunaway
Independent Life Center
Deb will demonstrate adaptive equipment and provide helpful information.
