A. I get up at 6 a.m. and cook breakfast with my oldest son, Kemper. Then I drink coffee and he drinks pirate coffee (juice).

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. Many have: "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," by Hunter S. Thompson, because of the openness to various stimuli; "Nine Faces of Christ: A Narrative of Nine Great Mystic Initiations of Joseph, Bar, Joseph in the Eternal Religion," by Eugene E. Whitworth, because of its openness to religious beliefs; "The Pillars of the Earth," by Ken Follett, because of its openness to Historical Fiction, and many, many more.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what

would you talk about?

A. Ben, C.J., Denny and Tom and I believe we would discuss William Golding's "Lord of the Flies" and how man reverts there are to an uncivilized way of life when placed in a primitive environment, and how this relates to the annual gathering to review the Sports Ilustrated swimsuit issue.

Q. In the Meatloaf song, "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is that?

A. Go on Fear Factor.

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?
