12:12 a.m. A burglar alarm was reported on Sundance Court. It was a false alarm.
12:52 a.m. A noise complaint was made at Whistler Village Town Homes. Officers gave a verbal warning for loud music.
7:57 a.m. Illegal dumping or littering was reported on Routt County Road 179 near Milner. Someone had thrown a couch away.
8:07 a.m. A theft was reported in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive. An iPod was reported stolen at the Steamboat Springs Middle School.
8:22 a.m. An animal complaint was made in the 38000 block of C.R. 53 near Hayden. A pit bull was reportedly loose but was gone when officers arrived.
9:21 a.m. Theft of electrical services was reported in the 28000 block of Yellow Jacket Drive. A report was taken and the situation is under investigation.
9:32 a.m. A gas skip totaling $20 was reported in the 900 block of Weiss Drive.
10 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1400 block of S. Lincoln Avenue.
11:12 a.m. An animal complaint was made on Fish Creek Falls Road and Harwig Circle. The dog at large was gone when officers arrived.
12:02 p.m. A lost jacket was reported in the 400 block of Anglers Drive. A report was taken.
12:15 p.m. A trumpet was reported stolen in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive. A report was taken, but the trumpet was stolen before Christmas.
1:48 p.m. Vandalism was reported at Howelsen Hill. The small building behind the concession stand had its lock broken off, but nothing else was missing. A report was taken.
2:58 p.m. An animal compliant was made in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. A husky at large was taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
3:04 p.m. A 20-year-old Denver man turned himself in to authorities after a warrant was issued for his arrest on alleged DUI charges.
3:48 p.m. A one-car accident was reported at mile marker 141 on westbound U.S. Highway 40. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
4:07 p.m. A theft of a wallet, $50 in cash, sunglasses, an iPod and gift certificates was reported in the 2200 block of AprÃs Ski Way.
6:11 p.m. Extra patrol was wanted on C.R. 33A.
6:20 p.m. Extra patrol was wanted on C.R. 42.
6:35 p.m. A burglar alarm reportedly went off in the 200 block of Anglers Court. It was a false alarm.
7:15 p.m. A noise complaint was reported on Snowflake Circle. Construction equipment was reportedly still running after 7 p.m., but the equipment had stopped running while officers were en route.
7:35 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported at Steamboat Springs High School. A report was taken.
