Preschool looking for volunteers to help move

Officials with North Routt Preschool are looking for help moving the school. Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. today at the Moonhill School House. Trucks and trailers are also needed. Call Hillary at 871-4559.

'Bite of the 'Boat' fundraiser is today

The "Bite of the Boat," an annual fundraiser for the Stepping Stones transition program, is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Strawberry Park Elementary School. Local restaurants and businesses are encouraged to donate food to sell at the fundraiser or items to be part of the silent auction. Stepping Stones is a transition program for Routt County students ages 18 to 21 who need help with social, emotional, occupational and independent living skills. The goal of Stepping Stones is to help each student transition safely into the real world. For more information, call 871-6937.

Former Broncos to play basketball game today

A group of former Denver Broncos will play an exhibition basketball game against Steamboat Springs All-Stars at 6 p.m. today in Kelly Meek Gymnasium. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and there will be an autograph session, concessions, prizes and other drawings. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 3 to 18. All proceeds will benefit the Steamboat Springs Booster Club. The ex-Broncos include Billy Thompson, Dave Studdard, Mark Jackson, Ron Egloff and Larry Brunson. E-mail broncos@springsips.com.
