7:13 a.m. A caller complained about a person camping in a vehicle in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.
8:15 a.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury accident near Amethyst Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road.
9:15 a.m. A woman reported a golden retriever that was tied to a tree for an hour and was tangled near Whistler Road and Park Court. Animal control officers returned the dog to its owner, who was warned.
9:36 a.m. A woman reported a dog running loose without tags in the 1900 block of Cornice Road. Police were unable to locate the dog.
10:38 a.m. A woman called police complaining of a woman speeding in a blue truck on River Road. Police located the vehicle and issued a warning to the driver.
11:05 a.m. A man reported an abandoned vehicle in the 2500 block of Pine Grove Road. Police tagged the vehicle.
11:16 a.m. A person reported jewelry stolen from a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The person later found the jewelry.
1:27 p.m. A man in the 2800 block of Trails Edge Road called police and said construction on a road would make it impossible for emergency vehicles to access the road. The workers said they would finish the work in 30 minutes, and they did.
2:50 p.m. Police responded to Amethyst Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road for a head-on collision involving a Subaru and a Chevrolet Blazer. Airbags deployed, but the drivers refused medical attention. Both vehicles were towed.
2:56 p.m. A woman reported a loose dog in the 1600 block of Cornice Court.
4:07 p.m. A man reported losing his cell phone somewhere in Steamboat.
4:51 p.m. A woman reported discovering a fake $20 bill at a business in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:51 p.m. A woman reported discovering a fake $100 bill at a business in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:25 p.m. A person in the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Road reported receiving a bad check.
5:52 p.m. A man reported discovering a fake $100 bill at a business in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.
6:06 p.m. A woman reported discovering a fake $100 bill at a restaurant in the 2000 block of Anglers Drive.
6:22 p.m. A woman reported discovering a fake $100 bill at a business in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
11:54 p.m. A woman in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue reported $120 in tip money had been taken from her around Sept. 22.
