Monday, Sept. 25

12:30 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's deputies and Hayden police responded to a report of domestic violence. A 25-year-old Hayden man was arrested for third-degree assault, harassment, criminal mischief and prohibited use of a weapon.

12:51 a.m. Police assisted emergency medical technicians with an 85-year-old woman complaining of back pain in the 1900 block of Anglers Drive.

2:22 a.m. Police assisted a man who caught a dog running loose near the intersection of Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police helped find the owner.

7:07 a.m. A man reported his 1996 Chevrolet Suburban that was parked in his driveway had been hit by another vehicle in the 3300 block of Apres Ski Way.

10:28 a.m. A person reported a woman was walking her dog without a leash near Anglers Drive.

1:15 p.m. A man reported a picnic table located along the core trail had been vandalized.

1:57 p.m. A woman reported a black cow on U.S. Highway 40 near the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. The cow was gone when Routt County Sheriff's deputies arrived.

2:08 p.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury car accident at the intersection of Pine Grove Road and Lincoln Avenue. A man and a woman were ticketed for careless driving.

3:15 p.m. An animal control officer cited the owner of three dogs that were running loose in the 2000 block of Homestead Court.

4:01 p.m. Police responded to the Yampa Valley Medical Center emergency room where a hospital worker reported someone was being treated for a dog bite. The man who had been bitten did not want to talk to police.

6:31 p.m. A woman reported cars were blocking the fire lane in front of the dorm at Colorado Mountain College. Police issued four tickets.

7:06 p.m. An employee at a liquor store in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue contacted police after discovering a fake $100 bill.

10:17 p.m. A woman complained of loud noise in the area of Old Fish Creek Falls Road. Police contacted the people making the noise.

11:45 p.m. A taxi driver reported being punched by a passenger. The man did not want police to pursue the incident.
