12:02 a.m. A woman in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue reported a group of people setting off fireworks that were landing in her backyard. Officers contacted the group of people and gave them a warning.

1:07 a.m. An 18-year-old Grafton, Ill., woman was arrested near 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and making a turn from the wrong lane.

2:49 a.m. A 32-year-old Kalamazoo, Mich., man was arrested on U.S. Highway 40 on suspicion of driving under suspension, driving with a defective headlight and being a fugitive of justice.

3:41 a.m. Two or three intoxicated college students reportedly called a Steamboat Springs police officer's personal cell phone and yelled obscenities at him when he answered it. The officer was able to find where the men lived and contacted them at their home in the 1000 block of The Boulevard. A 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man at the home was arrested on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice, and police confiscated two glass pipes used for smoking marijuana.

7:06 a.m. An old Subaru station wagon was reported stolen from the 2100 block of Downhill Drive. A report was taken.

8:05 a.m. Two foxes were shot in the first block of Logan Avenue. Steamboat police turned the case over to the Routt County Sheriff's Office and Colorado Division of Wildlife to investigate because the incident reportedly happened outside of city limits. Police said the people shot the foxes because the animals got into a chicken coop.

11:04 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:46 a.m. A woman reportedly fell off a horse near U.S. Forest Service Road 1177 and Routt County Road 64 in Clark. The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

3:14 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:34 p.m. A check fraud report was taken in the 3000 block of Elk River Road.

5:26 p.m. A man reportedly saw a group of skateboarders riding down Fish Creek Falls Road. The group was contacted on Steamboat Boulevard and given a warning.

5:46 p.m. A man reported losing his wallet near Fourth and Yampa streets.

5:51 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 300 block of Sixth Street.

7:58 p.m. A man reportedly was run over by a woman driving a car near Village Drive and Walton Creek Road. The man was not injured. A hit-and-run accident report was taken.
