Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. Originally moved to Steamboat in 1993, then moved away for eight years and recently returned.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken lately?

A. Buying a house in Steamboat before selling one in Michigan.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. Eat a bowl of cereal, pack lunches for the kids, grab a cup of coffee and then off to work.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. Be yourself.

Q. What are the first three things you tell new acquaintances about yourself?

A. That I grew up in Paoinia, have a wonderful wife and two great boys, and I'm glad to be back in Steamboat.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A stuntman.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you serve?

A. James Michener, Steve Martin, Rob Bell and John Madden.

Q. In the Meatloaf song "I would do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is that?

A. Move to a big city.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. Underdog because he always saves the day.

A. None.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Hiking with my family.

A. No.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Roofing with my dad.

A. No tattoos.
