Justin James Reid, 18, Steamboat Springs-Driving under revocation, possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia, driving with expired plates (SSPD) Reid pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. The other charges were dismissed.

5:49 a.m. A car that was parked in the 1800 block of Elk River Road reportedly had its flashers on. Police said the car was fine.

9:01 a.m. A 24-year-old man was found dead in the 1800 block of Steamboat Boulevard. Police said the death is under investigation because no one was home when the man died. Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg said the death does not appear suspicious and that the man will undergo an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

12:56 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:22 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:07 p.m. A 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital from the 60000 block of Routt County Road 129 in Clark because he was suffering from chest pains.

4:16 p.m. Check forgery was reported at the police department.

4:30 p.m. A man in the 2000 block of Resort Drive reported someone taking about $200,000 out of his bank account. Police said the man told them the money has been "leaving rapidly" and that he doesn't use the account often. The incident is under investigation.

5:16 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in near Hilltop Parkway and Lincoln Avenue.

6:34 p.m. A man in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue reported a fraud involving eBay. Police said the man sent money in for an item he was purchasing and never received the item. The incident is under investigation.

9:53 p.m. Someone was arrested for driving under suspension near Lincoln Avenue and 10th Street.

10:42 p.m. A woman in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road reported a loud band playing at a restaurant. Police said "there was nothing to do about that."

10:47 p.m. A car accident was reported in the 42000 block of C.R. 36.

11:29 p.m. A father in his late 40s was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The two underage teenagers riding in the car with the man were given minor in possession tickets. Police also said they found "a considerable amount" of marijuana in the car.

I know how to translate "per se" and I know what driving under the influence is. I don't quite get DUI per se. Is it better or worse than merely DUI?
