Flights to la Guardia
What: Jet flights between Steamboat Springs and New York's La Guardia Airport during ski season.
When: Saturdays from Dec. 23 through March 24
Airline: Delta
Aircraft: 183-seat Boeing 757
Departures: 8 a.m. EST from la Guardia/11:30 a.m. MST from YVRA
Arrivals: 10:38 a.m. at YVRA/5:26 p.m. at La Guardia
Steamboat Springs — There will be direct jet flights between New York's La Guardia Airport and Steamboat Springs this winter.
Andy Wirth, vice president of marketing for American Skiing Co., announced the flights Wednesday at the Steamboat Springs Chamber resort Association luncheon.
The flights will be offered by Delta on Saturdays from Dec. 23 through March 24. The flights will be on a 183-passenger 757.
Delta already offers daily flights to Yampa Valley Regional Airport from salt Lake City and will feature flights from Atlanta during ski season.
The flight will help Steamboat increase airline seats into the resort by 16 percent.
