Chris Diamond, Off the Beaten Path honored

Steamboat Springs Chris Diamond won the Navigator Award as the Business Person of the Year Wednesday at the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association's annual luncheon.
Diamond is president of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. He was recognized for his civic involvement, charitable contributions and his leadership on improvements at Yampa Valley Regional Airport and at the base of the ski area.
Off the Beaten Path was honored as the Business of the Year.
The Navigator Awards were presented by Steamboat Pilot & Today Pilot & Today Publisher Bryna Larsen. The Pilot & Today sponsors the awards.
Lt. Gov. Jane Norton was the featured speaker at the luncheon. Nortoan as well as state Rep. Al White and state Sen. jack taylor were recognized by the Chamber for their state efforts on behalf of tourism.
