Lisa Becker: Love the chili

Recently my sister and I had the great pleasure of spending a weekend in Steamboat Springs. What a beautiful little town and area. We thoroughly enjoyed our long girls weekend, but we especially loved the Chili Cook-off we attended. Being from Maine, we don't get much really good chili. Chowder yes, chili no.
We had such a good time wandering from booth to booth, talking with the vendors and hearing the stories of their chili recipes. The two high points of our afternoon were chatting with the CattleWomen and eating George's fabulous green chili. We were thrilled to hear that George won the People's Choice Award. Way to go, George.
Please encourage George to share his recipe with those of us on the East Coast. I'd be happy to send him my best lobster chowder recipe in return.
