12:19 a.m. A 22-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on Longthong Road on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, eluding police, failing to signal and failing to drive in a single lane. Police said the woman turned off her headlights and tried to speed up on Longthong Road to get away from them after she had been pulled over. The woman eventually lost control of her car and ran off the road, police said. The woman was not injured.
10:01 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported near Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers later found the driver who had left the scene of the accident. The driver told police he didn't realize he had bumped into anyone.
10:51 a.m. A woman near Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Road was given a ticket for driving under suspension.
1:41 p.m. A man reportedly was trying to sell magazine subscriptions door-to-door on Hiawatha Court. The man was gone when officers arrived.
4:51 p.m. A group of skateboarders reportedly were riding down Walton Creek Road. The skateboarders were gone when officers arrived.
5:30 p.m. An assault was reported in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive.
5:46 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:50 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 2200 block of Bear Drive.
7:29 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:03 p.m. A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and careless driving in Oak Creek.
