Annual Soup Bowl Supper tickets now on sale

Tickets for the fifth annual Soup Bowl Supper sponsored by the Steamboat Clay Artisans are on sale at All That Jazz. The cost is $18 in advance ($20 at door) and entitles the ticket-holder to a handmade ceramic bowl created by a local clay artist, soup donated by local restaurants, bread, beverage, dessert, and a chance at a door prize. This year's fundraiser benefits Historic Routt County.

The supper is Wednesday at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. There are 5:30 and 7 p.m. seatings. Each seating also will feature a silent auction of locally made pottery.

In addition to local clay artists who have created 300 bowls and auction items for the event, local businesses and restaurants have donated soups, breads, desserts, beverages and other supplies and services. These donors include the Butcher Shop, Cafe Diva, City Market, Cottonwood Grill, Creekside Grill, Ore House, Off The Beaten Path Bookstore, Pisa's Pizza & Pasta, Rio Grande, Safeway, Sheraton Steamboat Resort, Steamboat Yacht Club, The Egg & I, Winona's, The Epicurean, Blue Sage Bakery.
