Medical center selects new board members

Yampa Valley Medical Center's Board of Trustees has selected Tim Jenkins and Scott Marr as new board members.

Jenkins and his family have been in Routt County since 1999. He is self-employed and is active in ranching, cattle feeding and other businesses.

Marr owns and operates the Holiday Inn in Steamboat Springs. He has been active in the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association and the Steamboat Springs Rotary Club. Marr also served as a trustee on a hospital foundation board in Florida.

The YVMC board is led by Jane McLeod. Other members are Jim Kissane, vice chairman; Jay Fetcher, secretary; John Duffey, treasurer; Dr. William F. Cox Jr., chief of staff; and trustees Dr. David Cionni, Tony Connell, Karl Gills, Dr. Sharon Gulley and Nancy Stahoviak.

Former trustee Kathy Wolf recently vacated her seat because of time constraints. She continues to participate on the YVMC Ethics Committee.

Bonner returning to public accounting

Tredway, Henion & Kerr announce Dan Bonner's return to public accounting.

Bonner brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his own business endeavors and from his current business brokerage services. Bonner has served the Steamboat Springs business community in many avenues, including as Rotary Club president and president of the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association.

SmartWool creates new positions for employees

Two new positions have been created at SmartWool. Carol Momoda was named sales manager in outdoor specialty, and Amy Beck is director of sales in socks. Momoda and Beck are experienced and respected within SmartWool and the outdoor industry and will be essential in supporting retailers and consumer relationships, according to a SmartWool news release.

Momoda will support all aspects of the SmartWool brand within the premium outdoor specialty channel of distribution.

Beck's responsibilities include development of consumer and retail customer strategies to grow the domestic and lifestyle sock business.
