Optimist Club names Greis student of month

Hayden senior Angela Geis has been named the Optimist Teen of the Month.
Geis has a 3.3 GPA and has been active in school and community functions in Hayden.
Geis is a seven-year member of the Student Council. She has played volleyball for five years and ran track for three years.
She has been on the High Honor Roll in Hayden for seven years and received an Editor's Choice Award from the United Council of Poetry and poetry.com
Geis also has participated in Adopt a Highway and helped with Hurricane Katrina relief.
Her hobbies include music, reading, writing, playing softball and studying nutrition. She is employed at Alpine Taxi and Wolf Mountain Pizza.
