8:20 a.m. A construction worker in the first block of Park Place was given a warning for letting his dog run off a leash.

9:02 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

9:08 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the first block of Maple Street.

9:12 a.m. Ten brown and white cows reportedly were standing in the west lane of the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The cows were gone when officers arrived.

10:21 a.m. A flatbed truck's mirror reportedly hit another car's mirror in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. A hit-and-run accident report was taken.

11:05 a.m. A dead fox reportedly was found in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:04 p.m. A 22-year-old woman was arrested in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue for being a fugitive of justice.

2:11 p.m. A 60-foot-tree fell onto Washington Street in Hayden after strong winds swept through the Yampa Valley. Emergency crews broke the tree up and moved it from the roadway. No other injuries or damages were reported.

2:59 p.m. A tree fell onto power lines between Yampa and Phippsburg causing the lines to spark. The excessive wind blew the tree off the lines before crews could remove it.

3:54 p.m. Someone in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue was concerned that "two men in black hoodies" went into the home of a man that had been arrested last week on drug distribution charges. Officers went to the man's home but did not find the men.

4:01 p.m. A man in the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Lane reportedly tried to break his ex-friend's window with a snow shovel to get a CD player and a computer. Police mediated the situation and gave the man a ticket for trespassing.

4:13 p.m. A woman in a white Audi reportedly sped by in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

5:05 p.m. A man reportedly lost his cell phone in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square.

10:01 p.m. The man who had been cited earlier in the day for trespassing reportedly was "trying to solicit drugs" in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Police contacted the man again and gave him a warning and a ride home.

11:30 p.m. A restaurant owner in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square reported two people "trashing the restaurant." The man told police that two people he had kicked out earlier in the night threw food all over the restaurant's floor. A report was taken.

11:31 p.m. A 46-year-old Albuquerque, N.M., man was arrested near 11th and Yampa streets on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, weaving, speeding and driving without a driver's license.
