4:11 a.m. A truck reportedly was parked in the middle of Mount Werner Road and Steamboat Boulevard with its flashers on.

5:26 a.m. A Dumpster fire was reported in the 2600 block of Jacobs Circle. Fire fighters said the fire was contained, and no other damage was reported.

6:53 a.m. A woman was taken to the hospital from the 26000 block of Forest Service Road 409 because she was suffering from a possible drug overdose. The Routt County Sheriff's Office said the woman reportedly took some pills after she became involved in an argument with her mother.

7:28 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 800 block of Weiss Circle.

10:47 a.m. A man in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza was cited for assault after he reportedly slapped a man in the back of the head. Police said the two men were arguing and that one man slapped the other as he tried to walk away from the argument.

12:20 p.m. A visiting businessman reportedly became enraged by a loud car radio while he was parked at a stoplight near Hilltop Parkway and Lincoln Avenue. Police said the man was talking on his cell phone with his windows rolled up and couldn't hear his conversation. The man then pulled up next to the car with the loud radio and began shaking a water bottle at the car and squirting water in the car's open window. The driver of the car with the "loud radio" followed the man to his hotel and called police. Officers mediated the situation and gave both men warnings.

2:15 p.m. A man in the 1000 block of 13th Street reportedly found a piece of construction piping on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus.

2:54 p.m. A man reportedly shot a deer on Xcel power plant property in Hayden. Division of Wildlife officers found the man, confiscated the deer and gave him a citation.

7:14 p.m. An intoxicated man was taken to the hospital from the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Lane because he was "acting bizarre" and "making threats," police said. The man reportedly had been involved in an argument with someone and then refused to leave when he was asked to do so.

10:06 p.m. Two women near Walton Creek Road and Lincoln Avenue reportedly were following each other in cars and verbally threatening one another. Officers contacted the woman and gave them warnings.
