Not surprising that the citizens of Steamboat and Routt County voted in favor of the "legalize it" amendment. Hello morons, the rest of the state kicked that amendment right back into the trash where it belongs....at least the rest of the state has common sense.

I heard that there is a free "learn how to be a criminal and get away with it" seminar this next weekend in Steamboat....oh, and Gary Wall is teaching it. Anyone attending? I can't wait to break the law and then cry that my rights were violated when I get arrested, so that I can have Gary Wall come to my rescue and free me from jail....boy, Routt County is going to be a great place to run wild and not have to worry about being harassed by law enforcement.

Did anyone else read about Wall's former neighbor and how digusted he/she is that he was elected? Well, it doesn't suprise me and I have a feeling that more people (who know Wall on a more personal level) will be speaking out about his behavior.

Get over it! It's an election, my favorite candidate didn't win either, but I'm not on here trashing the person who won. If you don't like it then move to another county that votes the way you want to! Or go create your own damn country. I'm sick and tired of people whining away every time an election doesn't go in their favor.

Hey workerbee, what about the people who went to vote yesterday and then left because the lines were too long. Why don't you post something about their whining and being sick and tired of them complaining about long lines, when they had plenty of chance to early vote? There weren't any lines during early voting and it only took me 15 minutes. Yet, everbody is complaining about the long lines, the problems, and not being able to vote because they had other business to attend to and could not wait.

Oh, by the way, freedom of speech allows me to say what I want about the candidate who won. I'm not calling him bad names, I'm just reiterating what the candidate has said in the past (i.e. violating rights) and giving some "low blows" related to the candidates background (which is strewn with big red flags). Furthermore, if Gary Wall can sit around and accuse people of untruths and make vicious statements regarding the police in this county....then I can turn around and throw it right back in his face. Afterall, all is fair in love and war.

Hmmm...

I did post about the whiners of the long lines. There was early voting, you could request an absentee ballot, or if people had been prepared to vote then the lines wouldn't be as long. I personally did not early vote, just didn't think about it in time, so I waited in line for an hour. No big deal, I was expecting it.

WZ-

More funds and resources available? How is that? FYI, Federal Law supercedes State Law and there would not have been any funding. Besides, it would still be illegal to produce or sell. I agree that a joint or a little bit of pot should not constitute an emergency on the part of the police....it's a waste of time. On the other hand (and for fun), if the amendment did pass and young adults were running around with pot in their pocket, how many more calls would the police be getting regarding these stoned (and probably drunk) kids? They would be stoned, drunk, and doing even more stupid things which would result in the police wasting even more of their time.

And WZ, come on, KKK rally? That is despicable behavior/posting! How offensive and I really hope that someone of a different race does not read your post....it's embarassing to think that someone in Steamboat would even make reference to such a deplorable group of morons like the KKK. Just a thought, but I think you should retract that statement....it's in poor taste and you should have chosen a better way to take a shot at me.

Hmmm,

Way to be a humble winner and a humble loser. Didn't get EVERYTHING you wanted? Weird... neither did most people.
