— In the race for Routt County Commissioner, Democrat Diane Mitsch Bush is leading Republican Paul Strong with 5,211 votes counted. About 8,000 total votes were cast.

Mitsch Bush tallied 2,838 votes or 56 percent to 2,267 votes or 44 percent for Stroing.

Mitsch Bush is a 10-year member of the Routt County Planning Commission, including nine years as vice-chairwoman. Strong is a seven-year member of the Steamboat Springs City Council, including two years as council president.
