McDonald's to donate half of today's sales to school

McDonald's of Steamboat Springs is donating half of the money from its sales from 4 to 8 p.m. today to Soda Creek Elementary School.

Hayden Parks and Rec offering hockey classes

Hayden Parks and Recreation is now offering Introduction to Youth Hockey. The class is Monday and Wednesday evenings in Craig. Classes for children 5 to 11 years old are from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Classes for children 12 and older are from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Call Chris Reilly at 620-0975 or the Hayden Parks and Recreation Department at 276-3741.

Airport hosting job fair on Saturday

Yampa Valley Regional Airport is hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the airport's administration building. Employment opportunities include airline passenger service agents and ramp service clerks, car rental agents and detailers, maintenance equipment operators, restaurant and tavern workers, passenger service representatives, gift shop employees and janitors. Entries for department logo contest due Nov. 9

The Hayden Parks and Recreation department is holding a logo contest. The department is looking for a unique logo to represent its new slogan: "Active lives, healthy lifestyles." The winner will receive $100. Entries are due Nov. 9. Call Kathy Hockett at 276-3741 for more information.
