12:08 a.m. A woman reported gunshots in the 1000 block of Merritt Street. Police were unable to locate any gunfire and said there were no reports of injuries. The noise may have been fireworks, police said.

12:17 a.m. A bear was sighted in a trashcan in the 1300 block of Mark Twain Lane. Police said when they arrived on scene, they could hear the bear but could not track it down.

1:40 a.m. A bear was sighted in the 2800 block of Eagleridge Drive.

2:49 a.m. An anonymous noise complaint was made in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza. Police said two roommates, who are brothers, were fighting. The brothers were separated, and no charges were filed. Police said the two brothers "slept off the alcohol."

3:49 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police gave the individual a courtesy transport to his residence, where a sober friend was able to watch over him.

9:26 a.m. Vandalism was reported at Mount Werner Road and Burgess Creek Road. Police said someone broke glass bulbs on three street lamps on Mount Werner Circle. Police have no leads at this time.

11:22 a.m. A woman reported wildlife in the 1400 block of Clubhouse Drive. Police said a bear broke into a Ford Explorer that had food items inside. Police said the bear broke in through the rear passenger window, damaged the leather seats and "tore the heck out of the inside of the car."

11:37 a.m. A man reported a trespass in progress at the Chuck Lewis Wildlife Area on Routt County Road 14.

12:25 p.m. A woman reported theft at Eighth Street and Crawford Avenue. The woman told police her purse was stolen from a friend's house Friday.

1:57 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 30800 block of Routt County Road 14.

8:16 p.m. Police responded to a domestic violence call on Hillside Drive. Police said very minor injuries were reported in a "heated argument" between a boyfriend and a girlfriend.

11:40 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 300 block of Third Street. Police said a 73-year-old woman with chest pains was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
