Steamboat Grand names new sales team

Karen Schneider has been named director of sales for the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel and Condominiums.

Elisabeth Mullen has been promoted to senior sales manager, and Joseph Ruggieri has joined the property as national sales manager.

"Karen brings a wide array of experience that covers all aspects of the sales arena," said Mike Lomas, general manager for the hotel.

Schneider, who was part of the opening team at the Steamboat Grand in 2000, most recently held the position of on-site manager for The Rock Slope and Steamboat Wine Festival.

Mullen, who has been with the hotel as a national sales manager for three years, was promoted to senior sales manager. Mullen, who has nearly 15 years in the industry, began her career with American Airlines, working in the marketing department for AA Vacations, formerly Fly AAway Vacations.

Ruggieri, joins the hotel as national sales manager from The Canyons, where for the past four years he worked in conference services and sales.

Dave Keesee joins Catamount Ranch team

Catamount Ranch and Club has announced the addition of Dave Keesee to its golf professional team. Keesee worked as the assistant golf professional at Haymaker Golf Club for the past eight years after moving to Steamboat Springs in 1996. He is enrolled in the Professional Golf Manage--ment Pro----gram and will be assistant golf professional at Catamount.

"Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the team, and his experience with teaching different levels of golfers will be invaluable," said Tom Taylor, Catamount golf professional.
