Local teens ready to rock

With this year's Teen Battle of the Bands just two months away, the Teen Style staff focuses this month on the local teen music scene. You'll read a firsthand account of what it's like to be in a teen band that practices in a basement and watches anime between songs; an interview with members of last year's Battle of the Bands runner-up, Noise Pollution; and a scathing-yet-hopeful look at the current world of popular music written by a Teen Style staffer.
