4:47 p.m. A 15-year-old boy reported finding a wallet while he was with his cousin in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The boy told officers his cousin took $80 out of the wallet and wasn't going to return it. The boy's father took the $80 from his nephew and gave the wallet to police officers.

Briefs for March 18

A 41-year-old Phippsburg woman was arrested Thursday after police said she resisted arrest and obstructed officers who were trying to remove two horses from her property. Police said the horses are malnourished.

West Side Auto wins championship

The Steamboat Springs premier hockey league's version of March Madness came to a close Thursday with West Side Auto's 6-2 win against the Blind Pigs of Craig at Howelsen Ice Arena.
