Unfair closing
It was with great dismay that I read the article regarding Rocky Mountain Integrative Health having to close its doors.
Whoever filed the complaint against Dr. Jim Dailey and Melanie Dailey has done a great disservice to the Steamboat community. I, for one, have been very fortunate to have found someone who understood what I was going through with menopause, something that my OB-GYN did not. My doctor's solution was to put me on antidepressants, which did nothing to resolve the underlying problem, which was hormonal imbalance.
I suffered for two years before I went to Melanie. She was able to balance these, and I have felt the best in the three years I have been going to her. She always referred me to my primary care physician for any lab work I needed. I do not feel that either she or Jim were practicing medicine without a license. I believe that someone had a vendetta against them because it competed with what they felt was costing them income.
