5:51 a.m. Someone in the first block of Maple Street reported being awoken by loud, metal-scraping sounds. The person was sure the sounds weren't being made by someone shoveling snow.

8:11 a.m. A man in the 1500 block of 13th Street reported someone stealing a fastening tool worth $567 from a store. A report was taken.

8:23 a.m. A 17-year-old Steamboat Springs boy was arrested in the high school parking lot on suspicion of stealing something from a car. Officers reportedly hid under a blanket in the car the boy was stealing from and baited him with money left in the car's cupholder. When the boy opened the car door, the officer jumped up and caught him. The boy was compliant with officers and even opened the back door of the car for the officer to get out. The boy was charged with several counts of felony trespassing and theft.

8:54 a.m. A woman in the 1500 block of Harwig Circle reported a gas leak that began when ice fell off a roof and cut a gas line. The people at the residence were evacuated from the home, and Atmos Energy shut off the gas to repair the line.

9:01 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near AprÃs Ski Way and Village Drive.

10:03 a.m. A 49-year-old man was taken to the hospital from Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road because he was suffering from severe abdominal pain.

10:16 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 400 block of Apple Drive.

11:58 a.m. A 35-year-old woman was taken to the hospital from the 1500 block of Mid Valley Drive because she was suffering from severe back pain.

12:53 p.m. An 81-year-old woman was taken to the hospital from the 1400 block of Blake Lane because she thought she was having a stroke.

2:09 p.m. A woman in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road reported someone stealing $250 from her unlocked car.

3 p.m. A 17-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted. The incident is under investigation.

10:26 p.m. A 58-year-old New Hampshire man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive.

11:09 p.m. A driver was given a citation for driving under suspension in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
